Boundless Smiles ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. This site does not store health records, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Information We Collect
We collect information only when you choose to provide it, such as when you send us an email or contact form message. This may include your name, email address, phone number, organization, and any details you share about requesting a program, volunteering, partnering, or donating.
This website does not use cookies, analytics tracking, or third-party advertising scripts for general browsing — with two exceptions: if you choose to make a donation, the payment form (provided by Stripe, described below) may set cookies as part of processing your payment securely and preventing fraud, and the booking calendar on the Book a Time page (provided by Cal.com, described below) may set cookies needed for scheduling.
The Request a Program form includes an optional address-verification tool that checks the address you type against OpenStreetMap's free public lookup service, so you can confirm it's correct before submitting. The address you enter is sent to OpenStreetMap for this lookup only; see their privacy policy for details on how they handle it.
Appointments booked on the Book a Time page are scheduled through Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service whose booking calendar is embedded on that page. When you book, the name, email address, phone number, and any notes you enter are sent to Cal.com so it can schedule the appointment and email you a confirmation, along with links to reschedule or cancel. Cal.com may set cookies needed for its booking calendar to work. See Cal.com's privacy policy for details on how they handle this information.
The "Ask Us Anything" chat assistant on this site is an automated AI assistant, not a staff member. Messages you type into it are sent to an AI service provider (through our website host, Netlify) to generate a reply. Please don't enter health details or other sensitive personal information into the chat. If you use the chat's callback form, the name, contact details, and reason you provide are sent to us so a team member can follow up.
Donations made through the Donate page are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you choose to give, your card details are entered directly into a secure form provided by Stripe within this page — Boundless Smiles never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe receives the donation amount, your card information, and, if you provide it, your email address, in order to process the transaction and send a receipt. How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries, program requests, volunteer interest, and partnership proposals
- To process donations made by check, in person, or through a third-party giving platform (if applicable)
- To send occasional updates about our programs, with your consent
- To comply with legal and financial reporting obligations as a nonprofit organization
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Health Information
Preventive dental services described on this site are provided directly by Boundless Smiles and, where noted, through Lifetime Smiles Dental Hygiene Practice. Any clinical or health information collected as part of providing care is handled in accordance with applicable healthcare privacy laws and is separate from information submitted through this website.
Third-Party Links
This site may link to third-party sites (for example, a donation platform or partner organization). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies separately.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for parents, caregivers, schools, care facilities, and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this site.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information shared with us, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
